Finding Support After Loss With Grief Coaching

Loss can come in many forms. Many forms of loss are familiar, such as death, divorce, loss of employment, infidelity, infertility, etc. Even some events that may appear happy to most - marriage, starting a new job, moving into a new home - can cause a sense of loss of the life you had previously. Grief support groups are an excellent way to help you connect with others who understand what you're going through.

If you're currently dealing with grief, it can be tempting to keep to yourself. It can be hard to believe that anyone else could understand the pain you're dealing with, and it can be hard to open up to others. When you choose to take a step forward with grief counseling and grief support groups, you're opening yourself up to the possibility of life after loss. This doesn't mean that you'll forget who you've lost, or that the pain will ever completely go away, rather, it means that you're opening your mind to the idea that the rest of your life can move forward.

Contrary to popular belief, grief does not come in stages. The process of grief is individual for each person and can take different forms depending on life circumstances, type of loss, support after loss, and other factors. When you sign up for grief counseling, you'll get the information and support you need to work through your grief in a way that's appropriate for your situation.

No matter how hopeless life may seem after loss, you can and you will move forward. Grief counseling can help. Chaplain Barbel at Hope Renewed is here to help you get the grief support you need to get your life back while remembering and respecting what you've lost, one day at a time.
